Beginning of December Verti-Drain 19mm Solid Tines with
full heave.
All the above aeration will
be started on the date shown and will take no longer than two days. There will
be minimal disturbance to the playing surface with exception to the hollow
coring, which is carried out before and after the main playing season. Top
dressing will be applied after each procedure to aid in the recovery and to
keep the greens firm and true.
Aeration is carried out
on the golf course to maintain the surfaces to the best possible standard and
relieve the compaction created by all the traffic.
Aeration is vital for the
surface drainage, root development and reduction of the thatch layer. It will
also contribute to the breakdown of the black layer, which has accumulated in
the soil profile over time.
Aeration is also vital to
the reduction of disease outbreaks, which are becoming all too common due to
climate change.
Please accept our
apologies in advance for any inconvenience caused.
