SENIORS CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP
TROPHY: COBBLESTOCK CUP SCRATCH. TEMPLAR'S ROSE BOWL HANDICAP.
Currently Senior Gentlemen members (55 years of age and over) play a single medal round, as a Seniors Championship Qualifier. The top 8 scratch scores qualify for the Knock
-Out stages of the Seniors Scratch Championship. The top 16 (excluding the 8 scratch qualifiers) qualify for the Knock-out stages of the Seniors Handicap Championship. The finals of each of the above are held on Club Championship Day.

36 Hole Qualifying Competition. First Round played on 1st Saturday in June. Second Round played on Sunday of the following weekend. Format: 36 Hole Medal

Qualifying Rounds followed by Matchplay Knockout competition for Qualifiers
PLAYERS UNABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN ALL KNOCK OUT ROUNDS AND FINALS DAY SHOULD NOT ENTER THE KNOCK OUT
COMPETITION STAGE AND INDICATE ACCORDINGLY IN THE PRO SHOP PRIOR TO TEE OFF.
Aggregate scores count for qualifying for all Sections. Top 16 scores per section qualify.
Scratch Section. Low Handicap Section (0-14). High Handicap Section (15- 28).
The Championship now enters its Knock out stages. Draw made on evening of the 2nd Round and published immediately.
Tee Times reserved by M & H (sometime in advance) for following weekends:

Players drawn to play in
the KO stages of the Club Ch,ship MUST play their ties on the allotted

All Finals Co-Ordinated by M & H Convenor.
Presentation of Trophies to Winners made in the Clubhouse by Club Captain. Trophies are presented on the day.
Trophies presented on the day must be returned to the trophy cabinet and cannot
be removed from the clubhouse.

Entry Sheets for all erected by M & H during March and draws made for all Competitions in April. Dates per Round published on Draw Sheets along with Competition Rules and Guidance Notes for Players re contact of opponents etc.
No extensions other than in extreme circumstances. Full Handicap Allowance
in Singles.
Rule generally followed is that Top Name per each draw must offer the opponent three dates, one of which must be a week-end date.

MIXED FOURSOMES (STROKEPLAY)
TROPHY: LAPPIN TROPHY
Mixed Foursomes. Shotgun start. Handicap allowance 1/2 combined handicaps of each partner.
Ladies play from 1st tee. Ladies play from Red tees. Gents play from White tees.
Prizes for 1st 2nd and 3rd. Longest drive and Nearest the Pin for Ladies and Gents.
Low and High Hidden Hole Prizes. Lappin Trophy presented on the day.
MEDAL WINNERS FINAL
TROPHY: KELMAN TROPHY
Medal Round. Individuals who can win this trophy are restricted to the Winners of the individual monthly medals for the season (April: May: June: July: August: September. October) and Section Winners for the respective monthly medals. All others can participate in the round, but simply as a medal
round.
MONTHLY MEDAL TROPHY: PGC GLASS (WINNER OF EACH HANDICAP SECTION)

Played circa the middle Saturday in August. Format: 6 Holes Greensome, 6 Holes
Four Ball Better Ball, 6 Holes Texas Scramble . Handicap Allowance: 1/2 of the combined. Members' Guests to have a current official handicap. Entry Fee.
Prizes / Vouchers. Presentation on the day in the Clubhouse.
AUTUMN LEAVES
Played on the last Sunday in October.
A fun Team competition (Gents/Ladies/Juniors) to end the Season. Shotgun Start. Format: Varied. Entry Fee: (Juniors free). Prizes for 1st; 2nd; 3rd. Plus Novelty. Booby.
OTHER COMPETITIONS
PRO'S DAY
Format: Varies. Usually some form of Team event. Shotgun start a.m.
followed by buffet.
ALL ARRANGEMENTS BY THE PROFESSIONAL CHECK THE MAIN NOTICEBOARD TO SIGN UP.
MEDALS
Additional to the Monthly Medals are interspersed into the annual calendar for play on Saturdays. Sundays and Mid-week (Wednesdays).
Full handicap allowance as per CONGU handicap rules.
There is no draw and the Entry Sheet is for places to play in three's. Week-end medals are
normally arranged in three Handicap Divisions but can
vary.
Prizes are awarded for Scratch Winner and for Handicap scores per Division. Mid-week (Wednesday) medals are based on similar lines to Week-end medals except that in general there are 2 Handicap Divisions only.
STABLEFORD COMPETITIONS
Stableford competitions are interspersed into the annual club calendar in exactly the same way as Medals (see above).
BOGEY COMPETITIONS
There are normally one or two Bogey competitions annually in the club calendar.
Organisation, Handicap Divisions etc. are identical to those for Medals (see above).
